Assistant General Manager
Christopher Amato first joined the Indigo Road team in 2015 where he served as a vital member of O-Ku Atlanta’s opening team. Currently, Amato is settling into his new role at Donetto as Assistant General Manager where he oversees day to day operations and continues to set an example of excellent hospitality and service.
Amato’s early knowledge of food stemmed from his family’s Italian cooking, which ultimately inspired him to pursue a career in the restaurant and hospitality industry. In 2013, Amato graduated from Johnson & Wales University with degrees in culinary arts and food service management. Following graduation, Amato worked at Spice Market in New York City before relocating to Atlanta and joining Ford Fry’s team. During his tenure with Ford Fry, Amato worked at The Optimist and St. Cecilia, prior to opening The El Felix in Alpharetta’s Avalon development.
A West Midtown resident, Amato enjoys working out and following the fashion industry, along with taking care of his pit bull puppy, Daniel.
