Christopher Amato first joined Indigo Road in 2015 where he served as a vital member of O-Ku Atlanta's opening team. Currently, Amato is settling into his new role of General Manager at Donetto, where he oversees day to day operations and continues to set an example of excellent hospitality and service.
A New Jersey native, Amato's early fascination with food stemmed from his family's Italian heritage and traditions, which ultimately inspired him to pursue a career in the restaurant and hospitality industry. In 2013, Amato graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI with degrees in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management. Following his graduation, Amato began his career at Spice Market in New York City before relocating to Atlanta and joining Ford Fry's team. During his tenure with Fry, Amato worked at The Optimist, before moving on to open both St. Cecilia and The El Felix in Alpharetta's Avalon mixed-use development.
A West Midtown resident, Amato spends his free time focusing on his fitness and well-being in the gym and outdoors, and with his two pit bulls, Daniel and Duke.
