Scott Long

Sous Chef

An accomplished member of the Indigo Road Hospitality Group, Scott Long’s positive energy and enthusiasm successfully equip him to lead and support the kitchen as sous chef at Donetto in West Midtown.

Surrounded by a family of food lovers, Long’s culinary inspiration was first derived from helping his grandmothers prepare family meals. After watching his older brother join the ranks of the restaurant industry, Long realized the opportunity to exercise his creativity and officially launched his culinary career as a cook at Craftbar in New York City. After relocating to Atlanta in 2012, Long held positions in the kitchens of Ford Fry’s The Optimist and Jonathan Waxman’s Brezza Cucina in Ponce City Market, where he ultimately expanded his knowledge of Italian cuisine and familiarized himself with the city’s booming dining scene.

Hailing from Chattanooga, Tenn., Long’s wealth of knowledge and passion for Italian food and culture is showcased through his artful approach to Donetto’s Tuscan-inspired menu items. Since joining the Donetto team in early 2018, Long continues to draw inspiration from his team and the community.
